Smallsword or Experimental

Smallsword: Participants are required to bring their own smallsword, which will undergo a thorough safety inspection by the SoCal Swordfight team to ensure compliance with tournament standards.

Experimental: The weapon for this year's tournament is still under wraps! Once announced, all weapons for this tournament will be provided by one of our amazing event sponsors. This levels the playing field and allows participants to focus on skill and adaptability rather than equipment.

With inclusive categories for all skill levels—Open, URG, and U18—plus enhanced facilities and an undisclosed experimental tournament (and perhaps more surprises), this year’s experience will set a new benchmark for HEMA competition.
